On Sunday 31 September 2018, at the Espace Toro in Casablanca, the ceremony for the third edition of the SISL Awards took place, coinciding with the International Sport and Leisure Forum (SISL).

The event brought together more than 160 exhibitors in the 20,000 square-metre space, and allowed professionals and amateurs from the sporting world to meet and interact over four days filled with conferences and entertainment.

In this setting, the third edition of the SISL Awards, which highlights good practice and actions contributing to the development of sport in Morocco, rewarded the companies and individuals that have distinguished themselves over the past year.

There, the MDJS was awarded the 2018 SISL Award for “Civic Enterprise of the Year’, in recognition of its #3andiBlasti initiative, which was launched on 6th April to celebrate women in sport, on the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, created by the United Nations.

Ms Rhita Lahlou, MDJS Director of Communications, said upon receiving the reward that she was “very proud of the distinction, a reward for the work of a team that has been very committed to supporting national sport and the values of citizenship for many years.”

The 15 spots which make up the campaign, available on http://3andiblasti.com/, or on the MDJS Facebook page, aim to promote women’s sport by challenging certain stereotypes.
